Most product developers have the luxury of approaching a problem with a tightly defined feature set often driven from set of problem statements. At Joule Case our problem is stated very simply - make power available, anywhere - but the problem itself is huge and complex. How much power? How where is anywhere? How do you get that power? How do you get it there? When questions like these come up product developers have methods to down-select and group so that their products will meet neatly defined customers and groups. Case or not to Case?

Here at Joule Case our mission is "Advanced Power, Made Simple". In many instances that means you may need to take your power with you. Our portable power products were designed and even named to give you that freedom. Portability and the freedom to travel don't always take into account the 'how' of point A to point B. We want to show 3 different traveling companions for Joule Cases that we have used over the years. First, we would like to introduce a custom case designed specifically…

Now that the leaves are turning and Fall is in full swing, our evenings and weekends transition from camping and BBQs to tailgates and dugouts. Whether you find yourself amidst a sea of asphalt or looking past 1st base to a freshly mowed field, power can be hard to come by. Refuel your team with some hot chili, bring your favorite tunes and no loud generator required.

It has been a long year of hard work. A short look at what went on. July 2016 / New Facility This was the first real start for Joule Case. We finally had some space to grow, or at least space to put lots of pallets of parts and cart and carts. Pallets of all shapes and weights were coming in, double length pallets, pallets carrying 2000+lbs each (thats a lot of weight for 1 pallet). Pallets for days! Along with the space we also acquired the…

A Journey to Beta – How did we get here?
1 Nov, 2015. 0 Comments. . Posted By: jouleadmin
The journey of product development is fraught with pitfalls and dead-ends, even the most well thought-out concept doesn't necessarily translate into a simple build. James and I have had lots and lots of experience with batteries and power electronics. Back in February we decided to begin a new product journey that might let us use that experience and who knows, it might even be something other people would want. As a product developer there are many ways you can convince yourself and others that a set of features will be interesting to a consumer group, but you never really know…
