Joule Case is proud to announce its selection as one of only 75 technologies, alongside Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Silvus, invited to participate in the U.S. Department of Defense's T-REX 24-2 event, organized by the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD (R&E)).
"T-REX is valuable for helping us identify joint technologies that we should quickly push through the development timeline for combatant commanders to use sooner rather than later," said Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Heidi Shyu.
This event, held from August 19-28 at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, and executed through the Rapid Defense Experimentation Reserve (RDER) is part of a broader initiative to accelerate the transition of emerging technologies to operational use. Joule Case will showcase its Quiet Tactical Power system, METEOR, and provide critical on-site power for the event.
"We need to do more than just move the needle; we need a giant leap forward. I believe Joule Case could provide that leap with their quiet tactical power system. METEOR has the potential to be a game changer for the U.S. Army and Marines," stated MAJ. Grover Smith, OUSD R&E, RDER Task Force, T-REX ExDev Lead.
Joule Case's systems offer a sustainable, flexible, portable, and reliable power solution, poised to revolutionize military operations by eliminating the shortcomings and challenges associated with internal combustion generators and traditional military mobile electric power systems (MEPS). The company's participation in T-REX 24-2 highlights its commitment to advancing technology that meets the rigorous demands of modern military environments.
"We're honored to be part of T-REX 24-2, where we can demonstrate our modular power systems. This opportunity highlights our commitment to use Joule Case technology to advance the operational readiness and effectiveness of the U.S. armed forces," said James Wagoner, CEO of Joule Case.
